Welcome to Fish Replica Mounts. We are a small, tight-knit company with a passion to make great quality replica fish at affordable prices.  Our fish are all handcrafted using quality fiberglass products, from molds that are anatomically correct and have details like scales.  All our fish are half mounts, and lie flat or almost flat against a wall . 

Based in Scottburgh on the south coast of KZN, we are a small company specialising in creating handcrafted products that are of great quality and affordable enough that any angler or fish lover can have one in their home.  Our aim is to close the gap between expensive taxidermy products and full mount 3D products, and offer a range of fibreglass products that still capture the essence and beauty of the fish. 

Our molds have been chosen to offer a range of sizes of fish, ranging from 1.45m which are great for large walls, but also smaller ones suitable for any space, home or office. 

They are half mounts, and hang flat or almost flat against a wall.  They are light weight, and are fitted with a sturdy D shackle for easy hanging. 

Each fish is painted by hand, by our talented airbrush artists.  We paint our fish to look “lit up” and alive. We strive to capture them almost as if they were still swimming.   We start with a plastic primer for a chip resistant finish, and use top grade automotive quality paints with metallic sheen that really captures the fish as a living creature.  We then apply a gloss topcoat that is UV resistant and leaves the fish with a durable and glossy finish that will stay looking good for years.
